What does it mean to be a Responsible Employee? Discuss strategies for ensuring students are informed about your role, and how to appropriately respond to student disclosures of experiences of sexual misconduct.
Relevant laws and MIT policies
Learn about relevant laws related to gender equity in education, and MIT policies and definitions.
Reporting options, rights and complaint processes
Discuss the formal and informal options available for students who have experienced harassment or discrimination (including sexual misconduct).
MIT sexual misconduct prevalence and reporting data
Review data from MIT’s Community Attitudes on Sexual Assault Survey, and T9BR’s annual case numbers.
Interpersonal Violence Disclosure Response Training (annual)
In conjunction with Violence Prevention & Response, T9BR offers this comprehensive two-day training to MIT faculty and staff annually in June.
