Title IX Student Advisory Committee

The Title IX & Bias Response (T9BR) Student Advisory Committee (formerly the Student Title IX Working Group) was formed in 2013 to help guide MIT’s education and outreach efforts.

Purpose of TIXSAC

MIT’s Title IX and Bias Response Office is dedicated to preventing and addressing sex discrimination across the Institute. The Title IX Student Advisory Committee is made up of Undergraduate and Graduate students that are committed to creating a more equitable campus for all students. The Committee meets monthly to give essential input and feedback to the Title IX and Bias Response Office, oversee a grant program which will fund student proposals for projects and programming, and plan an engaging Title IX event as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April.
